Bike riders, pedestrians and drivers are currently at risk due to visibility issues. The fact that a child was HIT BY A CAR driven by a non-negligent driver demonstrates how dangerous the intersection is to all.

Please install a 4 way stop sign AND traffic calming measures (seen at other intersections where pedestrians need to cross ie. demarcated cross lines, signage of children crossing) at this intersection!! It is a bus stop and frequently used by children walking and biking to school. Recently, a child was hit by a car at this intersection. It should not take an accident involving a CHILD to get the attention of this issue by the City and the neighborhood. If you have driven through this intersection, you can attest to the major blind spot due to a large road/ hills on Currituck.
Please fix this and please support the families and children using this intersection, neighbors! It will make it more friendly to senior citizens and people walking their dogs as well! Thank you for your urgent attention!
